December Challenge – Final Results

30 Day Guns, Buns, & Ab Challenge Tracker

For December, we focused on the exercise aspect of fitness. We targeted our arms, abs, and butts with the 30 Day Guns, Buns, & Abs Challenge.

To track our progress each day, we used my 30 Day Guns, Buns, & Abs Challenge Worksheet so that we can simply check off each box as we completed each activity! Click on the link above to grab your own, it can be used for any month.

This challenge is finally over.  My legs are SO stiff guys!  Doing squats yesterday was definitely a chore.  I gotta tell ya, 250 squats is way too many for me, no doubt about that.

My Progress

December Challenge Final Days

As usual, I used my Challenge Tracker page to help me track what I was able to complete each day. But I also kept a daily journal because I think it’s important to note how I’m feeling each day.

Sunday – Day 29

This is the second to last day of the challenge. I started the day by publishing Beck’s Sunday Stats post and then of course writing and publishing my own. Once that was done, I did the first set of challenge tasks for the day before getting started on my goals for the day. I finished my final set of challenge tasks right before 5pm and had 6,508 steps under my belt…even after completing my Country Heat cardio routine. Now to get the rest of my steps in.

Monday – Day 30

I got up this morning ready to go. I sat down and went through my email and then got the trash out to the curb, treated the ant piles, came in and took the dogs out, and did my first set of challenge tasks while waiting for them to come back in. Next, I did a little bit of website work, started laundry, and then completed my Country Heat cardio workout for the day. By this point, I was at 3,319 steps. A long way to go still but it’s only 10am. After doing some cleaning, some more website work, and eating lunch…I did more challenge tasks. By 3pm, I had 50 squats left to do and 4,899 steps under my belt. I finally completed my final set of squats at 7pm. I will still only at 5,378 steps though so I had some marching to do to meet my personal goal for the day. But I finally finished the day off with steps.

Challenge Winner – Journal

My personal goals are improving.  I’m not quite there yet but I have plans and goals and am making progress toward meeting them.  Those goals don’t count toward this challenge though so I’m going to leave them off for today.

  5. This website is quite impressive, in fact, very impressive. I spent at least a half an hour in there, and I plan to go back for more information and more ideas. The links are amazing. There were many many buying opportunities, and I would have bought the brain pill, had I not already had a similar product in my cupboard, which I need to use up. I was tempted to take the bet, but was not sure what link to follow to get to it– and I have already spent so much time. Your content was great and very well written. I followed a link to Amazon, couldn’t stop myself. I appreciate that I knew they were links, and that they went where they were supposed to. Personally, I had a very hard time not going everywhere. The subjects are ones I follow and I believe many others do. This is a huge niche. There are many keyword opportunities for you on this website. The only thing I might say on the other hand, the website is so big, perhaps even too big– but I do want to go back.

    1. Thank you for the feedback, Deelilah.  It means a lot to me that you took the time to share your thoughts with us.  There are plans to kind of re-organize and streamline our site in the near future where we will zero in on what works for us.  Thank you for taking the time to explore and let us know how inviting it was for you.  We always appreciate feedback!
