Fitness challenge names is a great way to switch up your workout routine when you get bored with what your currently doing.

Beck found this challenge on Facebook and thought she couldn’t do it.  She told herself she couldn’t do it.  When she finds herself saying that, she makes it a point to prove to herself that she can.

Being big girls, we sometimes need to modify our workouts so that we are able to perform without hurting or overexerting ourselves.  So Beck has modified this challenge a little bit to fit her body.

She’ll be using this challenge to check her progress monthly and see if it improves over time.  This kind of positive thinking and self improvement makes Beck a badass in my book.

In this video, watch Beck as she does the fitness challenge names for the first time and does a different work out for every letter of her name.

When my leg heals enough, I may try this challenge as well but I don’t know because there sure are a lot of burpees in my name!  That sounds like cruel and unusual punishment to me.

I have a long name like she does if I spell it out.  Oh wait…is it cheating if I just use Ki?  Ten push ups and 30 jumping jacks, I could handle that!  But somehow I don’t think she’s going to let me get away with that.

  1. Way to kick ass Becks!! You’ve inspired me!

    I cannot do Burpees because neither my knees nor my shoulder will allow that at this time. SO, I’ve changed the burpee to arm circles – it was the next item on the list.

    J = 15 crunches
    E = 1 min wall sit
    N = 40 Jumping Jacks
    I = 30 Jumping Jacks
    F = (modified) 20 sec Arm Circles
    E = 1 min wall sit
    R = 15 Pushups

    I think I’ll do mine in a row, except all those JJs in a row- I’ll spell my name Jengier for this go round. 🙂
