New Challenge & New Goals

It looks like Beck and I both slacked off big time for February. I almost regret calling off the challenge for February as we both seem to have completely lost our motivation which has had a negative result for both of us.
But like she said, it’s time to get up, dust off our shoulders and get to work.
March Challenge – 2019 – Week 3
I am still my tracking sheet as a checklist to mark off each task as I complete it. This has been a life saver. The tracking page sits in my planner so I see it every time I look at my To Do list.
Week 3 Measurements

I’m measuring progress on my thigh but am recording my weight as well for my personal goals. My personal goal is to get my Average Step Count above 10,000 and my weight down as much as I can.
- Average Step Count: 4,082
- Thigh: Didn’t measure
- Weight: 253
So, a couple things… my average step count is waayyyy low still! Like last week, I started the week strong but then slacked off midway through the week and didn’t pick it back up.
I still didn’t get focused on my diet and my weight sure enough showed it. I will force myself to start the Keto diet again on Monday and stick with it this time. I just have to get past the Keto flu and then I’ll be good. I need to push through.
Day 17 – Sunday

I woke up motivated today. Tomorrow will be day 1 on my diet again but today is day 1 on my exercise again. I need to get these habits nailed down and make sure I’m doing what I need to do each day. Today, that is to accomplish 10,000 steps and my challenge tasks. At lunch time, I was at 8,000 steps already. There is absolutely no reason I can’t do this every day. I accomplished my challenge tasks after my first morning walk as usual.
Steps: 9,613
Day 18 – Monday
Another super motivated day. I’m totally happy with my results so far today. I had 10,000 steps in shortly after lunch and of course finished my challenge tasks after one of my walks. I did well on the diet too until about lunch time when my adorable son prompted my dog to beg for a cheat day. Long but adorable story. All in all, it was a successful day. We’ll start the diet tomorrow…maybe.
Steps: 11,755
Day 19 – Tuesday
I wasn’t focused on Tuesday and didn’t reach my step goal. I just completely forgot about it after the second walk of the day. Not cool man. I did complete my challenge tasks during the usual morning walk.
Steps: 4,200
Day 20 – Wednesday
Again, my focus never really woke up Wednesday. I took the morning walk first thing, as usual and completed my challenge tasks at that time. But I didn’t get up and walk again at all. Stress is high, motivation is low. It’ll get better next week…I hope.
Steps: 3,404
Day 21 – Thursday
Thursday was a meeting day, as usual. In a way, meeting days are good because there are a few that I can walk through since I’m not focused on anything else. Unfortunately, I lost focus after lunch and didn’t walk again for the rest of the day. So I didn’t reach my step goal. But, as usual, I completed my challenge tasks during the first walk of the day.
Steps: 6,023
Day 22 – Friday
Friday was a work day and I did remember to do my walks during the first half of the day which included the challenge tasks after the first walk. But, again, after lunch I got lazy and forgot to get out of my chair.
Steps: 6,042
Day 23 – Saturday
Saturday was a good day, but not for goals. We went and got my son’s hair cut and went out to lunch but then it was home for the day being lazy. My son has had some medical issues going on this month which has my stress level real high and my focus is shot. My motivation is rock bottom right now. So my goals aren’t getting met. I did manage three thousandish steps for the day just by being lazy and I did complete my challenge tasks in the early afternoon when I remembered I needed to get it done.
Steps: 3,061
Progress on My Goals
Personal goals
My goals are just not getting met this month. While I’m getting my leg work done, I’m not taking the steps I should be taking and I’m not eating the healthy that I should be eating. It’s a stressful month, I need to get focused and do better.
Challenge goals
Measuring my thigh each week is worth 1 point.
Posting my stats on time (by 6pm Sunday) is also worth 1 point.
Therefore, this week there are 37 points available.
Points Earned: 36
Total Challenge Points: 103
